Joe Bozzi
Joe Bozzi began his mastering career in 1993, apprenticing under his mentor, Multi-Grammy Award Winning Mastering Engineer, Bernie Grundman. Joe has been around creating music since birth. His parents were both professional musicians. As well, His Father an FM Radio Program Director & Marketing Director at A&M records. Joe also has talents as a musician and has been involved with every stage of the process. The sum of these parts gives him a unique perspective when working with clients as he can easily see things from the artist’s perspective and intuitively apply his skills to achieve their vision.
Over his more than 24 years at Bernie Grundman Mastering, Joe has mastered in almost every genre that exists , perhaps some that do not even exist anymore. Joe has mastered or assisted on many multi-platinum and Grammy award winning albums including U2’s “How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb” , Outkast’s “Speakerboxxx”, Fleetwood Mac’s “Say You Will”, and countless previous Grammy winners.
Joe has also had the pleasure of mastering songs and albums from artists such as Will.I.Am, Britney Spears, The Afghan Whigs, Miley Cyrus, Van Halen, Gwen Stefani, Imagine Dragons, Selena Gomez, Faith Hill, Ellie Goulding, BØRNS, Carly Rae Jepsen, and X-Ambassadors to name a few. Joe takes great pleasure in every aspect of his work and looks forward to future projects at Bernie Grundman Mastering.
